Short-Term Rehabilitation
We understand that there are a lot of choices when it comes to short-term rehabilitation communities. While many communities can sound the same on “paper,” you will not truly know if a community is right for you or a loved one until you visit. Tours of Sandalwood are encouraged so you can see firsthand how we are changing the face of short-term care.
When you determine that Sandalwood is the right choice, a Nurse Liasion will meet with you and your family to complete an assessment prior to admission. The goal of this meeting is to ensure we can meet your specific medical needs and your schedule preferences. Examples of information gathered during this meeting include:
The Rehabilitation Center at Sandalwood employs a dedicated social worker to provide social and emotional support to our short-term rehabilitation guests. We help our guests access services within and outside of our care community, including:
