Angela Byrne, NHA – Administrator
Angela has been with Colavria Hospitality since August of 2001. After spending her first 2 years as the Human Resources Director at St. Paul Health Center and Colavria Hospitality, she was given the opportunity to participate in an Administrator in Training (AIT) Program at Sandalwood. Angela began her AIT program November of 2003 and upon completion of the program and licensure she was promoted to Administrator of Sandalwood. She has a B. S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and a minor in Tourism Management from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Angela is an Eden Associate, a Step I Quality Award Recipient and a Step I Reviewer for the American Health Care Association, She is a member of the Colorado Heath Care Association (CHCA) serving on their Education Committee and assisting in the presentation of the HR module for CHCA’s NHA training series. Prior to working with Colavria, Angela was employed as the HR Coordinator for Wyndham Hotels. While at Wyndham Angela won several performance related awards to include Employee of the Year. As Sandalwood’s Administrator, Angela places resident care as her priority. She promotes this motto with her fellow team members and maintains an open door culture making her as well as her team easily accessible to residents, guests, staff, family and friends. After the hours of Nursing Home Administrating Angela enjoys spending time exploring the great Colorado outdoors with her husband and son.
