CCCC Quarterly Education Program

CHCA 2011 Wii Bowling Tournament
Sandalwood residents and staff are thrilled to participate in the Colorado Health Care Association Wii Bowling Tournament. The tournament will take place July 1st – August 18th and all proceeds will benefit the CHCA Scholarship Fund. Good luck Sandalwood team!
Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival
This festival began in 1969 to honor the first year of the City’s creation and it will be held this year August 19th – 20th. The event includes the Carnation Festival Parade; Sandalwood has won top honors annually for their float entry. This year Sandalwood is excited to enter a new float created by residents and staff on August 20th.
Visit from the House of Representative’s Member, Ken Summers
Sandalwood welcomes Ken Summers, House of Representatives member to Sandalwood on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.. Mr. Summers will be meeting with our therapy team and touring The Rehabilitation Center.
Family Night
Join us for Family Night, Monday September 19, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. Dr. Reza Esfahani, Medical Director will be presenting on the topic of Diabetes.
Dr. Reza Esfahani is well known within the community as the Medical Director at Sandalwood, President of Long Term Care & Rehabilitation Consultants, LLC and Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Unit at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Dr. Esfahani specializes in physical rehab, geriatric, palliative, hospice, general primary care medicine as well as LTC and skilled rehab residents. With all of his experience and knowledge we are excited to have Dr. Esfahani present at Sandalwood for family night. Please help us welcome him by joining us on September 19th.
